Solutions

Professional Outsource Solutions provided QPF with a support contract at a fixed annual cost. QPF's complete IT infrastructure including desktops, servers, operating systems, applications and network equipment are now proactively managed and monitored from our Network Operations Centre, through a secure VPN Internet connection.

Staff use our 1300 support line to contact the helpdesk. Our helpdesk engineers can gain remote access to each machine on the network to assist users and to diagnose problems.

Our engineers carried out a comprehensive audit of the existing network and provided QPF with a step by step action plan to address critical issues in a structured way, minimizing the impact on the business.

The existing server was upgraded and reconfigured to add capacity and decrease user response times. Hosting and management of email and web site was also included in the package. Network equipment was reconfigured to maximize network bandwidth efficiency.

A Standard Operating Environment was developed and deployed on all desktop and laptop PCs to ensure uniformity and reduce support issues.

QPF are provided with a monthly report on all IT issues to ensure that the written service level guarantees are being met.
